Tuning Exhausts

Tuning the exhaust for a car can make a big difference on how your car performs. The normal exhaust fitted by the car manufactures are normally a compromise between performance and production costs. The standard exhaust system is made to a budget and to keep the exhaust quiet which also makes the exhaust fairly restrictive.

By changing the system for a less restrictive type of exhaust should give you some gain in your cars performance. One of the first things to look at is the the manifold section of the exhaust. These are normally made of cast iron or even if they are made of steel will tend to have quite sharp bends in them. This can restrict the gas flow quite a lot. Checking that the ports of the exhaust match up with the cylinder head ports can make quite a difference to performance. If you are intending to keep the original manifold, then the simple use of a small grinding stone on a drill to match the two ports up can make a big advantage.

The design of the manifold already fitted to your car also makes a difference as well. The four-into-one or four-into-two-into-one makes, are generally a better design than the other types. So if your car is fitted with one of the first two types you might not have to change them.

The next stage is to look at the silencers on the car. The normal silencers will tend to be pretty restrictive as they tend to push the gases through a U-turn to get more silencing from the silencer baffles to make the car quiet.

Fitting a straight through silencer instead with maybe a slightly larger bore, can help eliminate some of these restrictions. Beware about going too large though, as some back pressure is needed to help with the performance. If you loose all of the back pressure, you could actually loose power rather than gain it. The exhaust has to be tuned for the car and having some back pressure going back towards the engine actually helps to pull the rest of the exhaust gases from the engine. That is why you will find cars with no exhausts do not perform well at all. You may have been in a position in the past where your exhaust has broken when you have been driving and you can tell how much power is suddenly lost.

You will also have to check that the new silencer is road legal as these silencers tend to make more noise than the standard boxes. Expect to loose some cabin comfort because of the increased noise as well. Some people like to look at this noise as just a sporting or throaty sound but on long journeys this sound can get a little tiresome.

For greater improvement still you may want to change the manifold to a free flow tubular type. For normal road use it is best to try and aim for a system that will improve the cars’ mid range power for better acceleration and overtaking capacity rather than the top end power.

The Seven Chakras and How They Affect You – Use Binaural Beats Or Frequency Harmonics Chakra Tuning

Chakra tuning helps your mind and body run smooth like tuning the engine of your car to keep it running smooth.

Each Chakra has a specific frequency or Primordial Sound that can release any stress or congestion in that area. We can free our chakras and unblock energy by simply listening to Frequency Harmonics and live with a healthy mind and body.

Sound Mind = Sound Body

Frequency Harmonics are computer generated sound waves mixed with soothing sounds (for example: rippling water) and musical tones to put you in a calming meditative state. You will feel all the tension escape your muscles as you experience relaxation as never before.

More technically specific:

Frequency Harmonics result from hearing two separate frequencies, one in each ear. Hearing the difference between the two frequencies, the brain then creates a “new” frequency. For example, if you hear a 220 Hz tone in your right ear and 200 Hz tone in your left, your brain hears 20 Hz (220-200=10)..

The following is a list of the 7 Chakras:

The First or Root Chakra (Red)

It is located at the tailbone (base of the spine), relates to our survival instinct and our sense of acceptance and belonging to a family or large group.

Those with tuned Root Chakras are strong, have excellent instincts, leadership skills and confidence with decision making. When this Chakra becomes unbalanced feelings of anxiety and worry will arise.

The Second or Sacral Chakra (Orange)

It is located just below the navel and is the center of emotions which relate to creativity and rebirth.

Those with tuned Sacral Chakras have high creative energy for writing music, being pioneers in business, or spreading happiness to loved ones. When this chakra becomes unbalanced one could have feelings of emptiness and a block of creativity such as writers block.

The Third or Solar Plexus Chakra (Yellow)

It is located in the Solar Plexus (between the navel and sternum) which controls our self esteem and intelligence.

Those with tuned Third Chakras are active achievers reaching all objectives, goals and desires. When this chakra is unbalanced one could feel powerless, frustrated and susceptible to negativity of the other people.

The Fourth or Heart Chakra (Emerald Green)

It is located in the heart. It relates to compassion and love. It also connects our spirituality with our physical bodies which allows us to accept love and give love back out to the world.

Those tuned Heart Chakras feel a deep connection to friends and family, as well as, exhibit healthy perspective when times are tough. When this chakra becomes unbalanced selfishness could arise and feelings of loneliness and alienation will develop.

The Fifth or Throat Chakra (Sapphire Blue)

It is located in the throat and is the center of communication and self expression which is the ability to express our dreams.

Those with tuned Throat Chakras can communicate feelings and thoughts without concern for the opinions of others.

When this chakra is unbalanced one could hold back thoughts and expression due to the worry of how others might react.

The Sixth or Third Eye Chakra (Indigo)

It is located between the eyes and is the core of insight, where the mixing of information and intuition take place. It is also the energy center for psychic abilities.

Those with a tuned Third Eye Chakra feel a strong connection with inner wisdom and trust that it will lead to intelligent choices. An unbalanced chakra could lead to self doubt and mistrust.

The Seventh or Crown Chakra (Violet)

It is located at the top of the head and connects us with a higher level of consciousness and spiritual knowledge.

Tuning this chakra brings a genuine awareness and appreciation of who and what we truly are which leads to the path of absolute enlightenment. When this chakra is unbalanced a state of pure enlightenment will never be achieved.
